Outstanding medico-legal training
Designed for medical
and legal professionals

Here at Inspire MediLaw, we help medico-legal practitioners to develop their professional skills and knowledge through accredited training, events and conferences.

We provide the highest quality learning for medical experts who need to understand the law and for lawyers who need to understand the medicine.

Our training courses and events are led by some of the UK’s leading barristers, solicitors and medics – who share their expert insights and extensive knowledge from years of working on clinical negligence and personal injury cases.

Medico-legal courses and events

As a medico-legal professional, you will be working independently much of the time and it’s not always easy to get feedback on your work.

So, our training, events and conferences offer fantastic opportunities for legal and medical professionals to learn from each other and make valuable connections – providing mutual support and new work leads.

Medico-legal courses for medical professionals

We offer expert witness training (online and events) to build your legal knowledge and help you to fulfil your duties to the highest standards.

We also offer an ‘introduction to inquests’ training course – where you can gain practical experience of writing a statement and learn how to prepare for questioning.

Our courses are all accredited by the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Training for lawyers

If you’re a lawyer, you may have chosen to specialise in one particular area of medical negligence. We provide training for lawyers across the UK and Ireland, themed by clinical area and delivered by highly experienced medical professionals.

What our training offers you

From our MD and founder, Caren Scott:

  • I wanted to build a community for lawyers and medical experts, so that they could share their skills, knowledge and perspectives – improving access to justice and enhancing clinical practice.
