Simon shares lots of practical advice to help improve your techniques should you be called to give evidence.

Former High Court Judge Harris KC then gives his view from the bench, with some useful tips on what a judge looks for in an expert witness. This part of the course concludes with some top tips from experienced expert witnesses Dr Tom Boyd and Mr Richard Kerr.

In this part, you watch three short videos which feature a consultant gynaecologist giving evidence under cross-examination. You will then have the opportunity to talk about good practice in the witness box.

For the next task, you put together and submit a short reflective piece on the content. For this task, you consider the performance of the expert and assess how this course has prepared you further for giving evidence in court.

In the final part, you complete our short multiple-choice questionnaire to consolidate your learning.
