Our giving evidence in court course is designed to support and develop the skills of medicolegal experts with a personal injury or clinical negligence practice.

Dr Simon Fox QC’s, online presentation takes you through the court process; things to consider before court, giving evidence in court and what happens if it goes wrong. During the presentation he gives lots of practical tips to help improve your technique should you be called to give evidence.

HHJ Harris provides his view from bench with some useful tips on what a Judge is looking for in an expert witness.

Three short videos of a Consultant Gynaecologist giving evidence under cross examination with Professor Charles Hennessy give you the opportunity to identify good practice and his demeanour whilst in the witness box.

Following the videos you will be asked to write a short reflection and complete a short MCQ to consolidate your knowledge. Our Legal team will review the reflection and provide their feedback on the cross examination.

Our training is accredited by the RCS (Eng) for CPD.  On completion of the course a CPD certificate will be sent for four hours.

Inspire MediLaw is an RCS (Eng) accredited centre
