Dr Scott was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist in Borders General Hospital, Melrose and the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh in 2013 after specialist training in both Scotland and New Zealand. Her research doctorate in Cardiac Imaging was awarded in 2011. She served a 7year tenure on Scottish Cardiac Society Council and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians. In addition to her clinical duties she is on the NHS Borders Research and Governance Committee and is an Educational Supervisor for Specialist Cardiology training. She is a member of the British Society of Echocardiography, the Society for Cardiovascular Magnetic Resonance Imaging and the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging.

Dr Scott’s clinical and medicolegal expertise span all areas of general cardiology with a particular sub-specialist interest in cardiac imaging. She accepts instructions covering the breadth of cardiology practice and estimation of life expectancy where clients have cardiovascular conditions.
