Event Bookings – Terms & Conditions; FAQs

These terms set out the basis upon which you agree to purchase training services from Inspire MediLaw Limited of 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.  By booking a course with us, you agree to be bound by these terms.

The training/conference/event fee includes lunch, coffee, tea and other refreshments, and a copy of the training handbook.  

Confirmation of your booking

We will confirm your booking by email. If you prefer confirmation by post please let us know by calling us on 01235 627195 or emailing us at [email protected]   

Please contact us if you have not received confirmation in writing 7 days after submitting your booking.

If you have paid by credit card you will receive a receipt with your booking confirmation. 

If you have requested an invoice this will be sent with your booking confirmation. Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.  

Hotel accommodation

This is not included. Venue details and any discounted rates we have negotiated with hotels where our training is taking place will be included with your confirmation.  Directions and a map for the venue will also be included with your confirmation.

Substitutions

Substitute delegates are welcome at any time. Just let us know who they are, and who they are replacing by calling 01235 627195 or email us at [email protected].

Payment

Payment of the course fee can be made using our online payment service at the time of booking.  If you elect to pay by invoice instead, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date, or two working days before the date of the course for which you are booking, whichever is sooner.

If we have not received cleared funds for your booking two working days before the date of the course for which you are booking.

Changes to courses by us

We reserve the right to change the location and postpone the date of any course that we run for any reason at our sole discretion.  If you are not able to attend the revised date or location, we will refund you all course costs that you have already paid.  We will not be liable for any other costs you may incur in relation to such changes, including but not limited to travel and accommodation costs.

Cancellations

A refund, less a 20% administration fee, will be paid if a cancellation is received, in writing, at least four weeks before a conference. We regret that cancellations after this time cannot be refunded, and that a refund for failure to attend a conference cannot be made.

Credit card refunds will only be made to the card in which the original payment was taken.

Outstanding invoices will still require payment after a cancellation less than four weeks before a conference.  For cancellations made four weeks before, a credit note will be issued for 80% of the amount.  The remaining balance is still required to be paid under the terms of the original invoice. 

On completion of the online booking form and receipt of an email confirming the booking, the delegate is liable for the fees for the training/conference/event subject to our cancellation terms.

Access Requirements

We would like all of our delegates to fully participate in the conference so please let us know if you have any special access requirements.  Email [email protected] with your requirements.  

Special Offers and Discounts

Special offers and promotional discount codes are valid subject to payments being made by the payment date stipulated on the invoice.  The special offers and promotional offers are for new bookings only, we are unable to offer transfer the discount in event of transferring a boo

FAQs

How do I book a conference? 

You can book an event online if you have a credit or debit card. Simply search for the event you are interested in, book now, add attendee and follow prompts. Please phone us on 01235 627195 and speak to one of the team if you have any questions.

Where do I put the promotional code when booking online?

There is an option to add your promotional code to the voucher code box once the booking is in your basket.  This will then recalculate the price to reflect the discount offered.  

How do I pay for my conference by cheque?

Post your booking form with cheque to Inspire MediLaw Ltd, 20-22 Wenlock Road, London, N1 7GU.  Don’t forget to include your email address so we can email you the VAT invoice and conference details. 

I want to book a place but need a VAT Invoice before I pay.  Is this possible?

Yes, this possible.  Book online and choose the pay by invoice option.  We will then raise an invoice, which we will email to you showing the balance due and the payment methods accepted.  Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date.  

How much does the conference cost?

To find out the price of an event, please select the specific event from our event list.  The cost of attending is listed at the top and bottom of the event details.

Is accommodation included in the training cost?

Accommodation is not included in the training cost fee.  However, we have negotiated discounted accommodation rates with some of the hotels where we hold training and we will confirm discounts available with your booking. 

How do I find missing presentations from the training handbook?

A link to the conference/training page will be sent following the event where you will be able to download all the presentations.  

I am attending a conference what do I need to bring?

Materials and pens are provided. Lunch and morning/afternoon refreshments are included. We do recommend bringing a jacket as we cannot keep the temperature in the room exactly to the preference of all delegates.

Can I cancel my booking to attend the conference?

A refund, less a 20% administration fee, will be made if a written cancellation has been received at least 4 weeks before the conference. We regret that a cancellation received after this time cannot be refunded. Refunds for failure to attend the conference are not available.  

If I have booked to attend a conference and I am now unable to attend, can someone else go in my place?

We are happy to substitute delegates providing we are informed of the change in writing in advance.  Please email us at [email protected].
