Oxford Moot Court

Course Overview: Learn how to give evidence clearly and effectively in this intensive training session, led by Dr Simon Fox QC. Through interactive role play in a small group, you’ll build your knowledge of court procedures and enhance your presentation skills. You’ll also be given feedback on your performance.

This session is limited to six people to ensure delegates get the most out of the training.

Course Overview: This two-day CPD course for medical professionals provides excellent preparation for expert witness work in clinical negligence litigation.

Introduction to Inquests Training

13 - 14 June 2022

Course Overview: This event provides a fascinating overview of the inquest process for clinicians.

Our training is led by a highly experienced solicitor, hospital consultant and Coroner, who will explain the scope and processes involved in an inquest. With a practical focus, you’ll learn tips on writing a factual witness statement for the Coroner and giving evidence at the inquest. You'll also attend a real inquest in Oxford on day 2.

This training is led by Isabel Bathurst, Inquest Solicitor and Dr Colin Holburn, who is highly experienced in giving evidence at inquests. Professor Paul Marks, Neurosurgeon and Coroner, will also shares his expert insights.
