Oxford Moot Court

Course Overview: Learn how to give evidence clearly and effectively in this intensive training session, led by Dr Simon Fox QC. Through interactive role play in a small group, you’ll build your knowledge of court procedures and enhance your presentation skills. You’ll also be given feedback on your performance.

This session is limited to six people to ensure delegates get the most out of the training.

Course Overview:  This accredited consent training day equips medical professionals with all the knowledge required to master conversations on consent correctly.

You’ll explore a whole range of consent issues, take part in a role play session and our medical speakers will share experiences of best practice.

You’ll learn from practising healthcare lawyers and hear the shared experiences of distinguished medical practitioners. You’ll also learn Lauren Sutherland QC’s, Junior Counsel on Montgomery’s thoughts on informed consent claims since the Montgomery case.

This course is suitable for all healthcare professionals. The Royal College of Surgeons (Eng) has accredited the training for 6 CPD hours.

This training session is run by Isabel Bathurst, Inquest Lawyer, and Dr Chris Danbury, Consultant in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care Medicine, who is an experienced factual witness.
